Your Stay in Germany

When you choose a VISA course with us, you have several options for organizing your stay in Germany. Depending on your country of origin, different possibilities are available to you:

Within the Schengen Area: You do not need a visa. If you want to attend a language course with us, you only need a valid ID card or passport to enter Germany. This is the easiest way to join one of our courses.

Outside the Schengen Area: You can stay in Germany for up to 90 days with a visitor visa.

Planning to Stay Longer than 3 Months? In this case, we recommend applying for a language course visa.

We suggest enrolling in our German Intensive Course for at least 6-8 months to increase your chances of visa approval. Our intensive courses, with 24 hours per week, are ideal and meet all the necessary requirements.

Depending on your country of origin, you can often apply for the visa at the immigration office in Germany or at the German embassy in your home country. We are happy to assist you with writing a motivation letter, opening a blocked account, or obtaining health insurance in Germany.

With many years of experience and excellent contacts with local authorities, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Sprachvisum für Deutschkurse in Essen

You Need the Following for Your Visa Application:

  • A valid passport
  • Proof of health insurance
  • Visa application form (in duplicate)
  • Two recent passport photos
  • Proof of enrollment in a German course
  • Proof of at least a secondary school diploma
  • Receipt of visa fee payment
  • Proof of course fee payment

For further information, we recommend contacting the relevant diplomatic mission to find out which specific documents you will need. The application process may vary depending on your country of origin, so it’s advisable to gather detailed information in advance.

How the Process Works?

First, please inquire at the embassy to find out which specific documents you need. After successfully registering for a German language course with us, you will receive an invoice with a request for a 50% deposit of the course fee. For shorter bookings up to 2 months, the full course fee is due in advance. For courses of 3 months or longer, the customer is required to pay half of the course fee as a deposit upfront.

Once the deposit is received, we will issue the necessary documents that need to be submitted to the authorities or embassy.

The second half of the course fee is due on the course start date.

If, contrary to expectations, you do not receive a visa and are unable to attend the course, we will refund your course fee. However, since there are costs involved in issuing the documents, even in the event of a rejection, we will retain a processing fee of €250. Please refer to our General Terms and Conditions in case of a visa rejection.

The Benefits of a VISA Course

You can fully focus on learning the new language.

You will prepare for a TestDaF or telc exam during the course.

You can experience German culture firsthand and improve your language skills with native speakers.

In our intensive course, you will learn a language continuously and sustainably, which helps you retain the material better and experience steady learning progress.

If there is a delay in the visa process, the course start can be postponed for up to four months free of charge.

If you need assistance with your visa application or have any further questions about our VISA courses, feel free to contact us anytime.
